My story

It all started with a challenge.

For years, my sporting life was summed up in one word: football. Evening training sessions, matches at the weekend, the team spirit. Running, to me, was a punishment between two drills — certainly not something to enjoy.

Then in 2023, a friend challenged me: the Paris Marathon. I had no running experience, no idea what 42 kilometres actually meant. I said yes before I even understood what I'd just agreed to.

Three months later, I crossed the finish line in 3h45. But the real turning point wasn't that day. It happened during the build-up: those weeks where you see your body respond, where an impossible pace becomes comfortable, where you discover that progress isn't about talent but about consistency.

I wanted to go further. The La Rochelle Marathon, prepared through an injury halfway through the training block, ended in 3h25. That imperfect build-up taught me more than any ideal plan could: adapt, adjust, listen to your body, and keep going anyway.

Then came trail running. Then ultra. Nature, trails, landscapes, the night, fatigue, hours of effort where the only option left is to keep moving forward. I found a sense of adventure and self-discovery I hadn't expected.

Today, running is my outlet, my therapy and my thinking time. It's where I reflect, where I unwind, where I find myself. And what I love most now is passing that on to others.

Now based in Barcelona, I'm lucky to train in a city that offers both the sea and the hills. I coach athletes in person here while continuing to support runners online, wherever they are.

My purpose

Why I chose to coach others

My biggest source of pride isn't my personal times anymore. A personal best is a great day. Watching someone cross a finish line they thought was out of reach is something else entirely: it's a story I get to be part of.

What motivates me today are the Sunday evening messages: "I held the pace", "I didn't give up", "I feel good in my body again".

The day I earned my certification, I told my athletes:

"That's it, I'm officially your coach."

They replied:

"You already were."

That sentence perfectly sums up my vision. A certification brings skills. But trust is built through listening, availability and the quality of the support you provide.

What trail running taught me

104 kilometres to understand patience

In an ultra, nobody wins by going out fast. You learn to manage your fatigue, respect your body, eat and drink before you need to, and accept that some hours will be bad — and that they'll eventually pass.

Above all, you learn to keep moving forward despite the doubts, without kidding yourself, one kilometre at a time.

That's exactly how I coach: demanding on preparation, patient on pace, never brutal. Progress built to last for years, not to shine for three weeks.

My coaching approach

Four principles, no exceptions

The athlete before the programme

I start by listening to your story, your constraints and what you want. The programme comes after, never the other way round.

Lasting progress

We build solid foundations and increase the load in stages, so you progress for years, not just a few weeks.

Real listening

A niggle, a tough week, a dip in motivation: tell me, and we adjust together without overreacting.

Enjoyment above all

Consistency never comes from obligation. It comes from wanting to lace up your shoes again tomorrow.
